Hearing loss is a deterioration in the level of hearing sounds. There are three major types of hearing loss: Conductive, Sensorineural, or a combination of both. Treatment depends upon the type of hearing loss that is present. Most hearing loss can be treated medically, surgically or with the use of hearing aids, depending on the cause and type of hearing loss.
